BlueRecruit, a leading hiring platform for skilled trades, set out to transform how high school students and job seekers discover career opportunities. Traditional assessments and static tools provided information but lacked the interactivity, personalization, and engagement needed for meaningful exploration. At the same time, scaling challenges on Heroku risked slowing down adoption of BlueRecruit’s growing platform and highlighted the need for robust AWS migration services.

The problem: static exploration and scaling limitations

BlueRecruit, a fast-growing recruitment platform for skilled workers, was facing challenges in scaling its operations due to increasing data complexity and infrastructure limitations. Their existing system struggled to keep up with rising user demands, slowing down performance and creating inefficiencies in managing candidate and employer data.

Additionally, they needed a more secure, reliable, and cost-effective way to modernize their infrastructure while ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations. The lack of scalability and rising operational costs were impacting both business growth and user experience, making it critical for BlueRecruit to consider AWS migration to address these challenges effectively.

The solution: an AI career assistant and AWS migration

To address these challenges, GoML and BlueRecruit co-developed a secure, enterprise-ready AI career assistant and executed a full Heroku-to-AWS migration.
