OpenAI has announced plans to acquire Promptfoo, a platform that helps developers test and secure AI applications. Promptfoo provides tools to evaluate prompts, simulate adversarial attacks, and detect risks such as prompt injection, jailbreak attempts, and data leakage.
The acquisition will integrate Promptfoo’s technology into OpenAI Frontier, a platform designed to build and manage AI coworkers. With automated evaluation and security testing built into development workflows, enterprises will be able to identify risks earlier and maintain oversight of AI systems.
