OpenAI has introduced Dots, a new class of always-on AI agents powered by GPT-6 Astra. Each dot has its own cloud computer and browser and connects with more than 4,000 apps through plugins.
Dots work on multiple projects in the background, learn from user feedback, and communicate through ChatGPT, Slack and Teams.
Users can inspect ongoing work, define custom rules and require approval for sensitive actions. OpenAI is initially rolling out Dots to Pro and Business Premium users in eligible markets, while Enterprise, Edu and Healthcare customers can access a beta when enabled by their workspace administrator.
