OpenAI has introduced ChatGPT for Financial Services, a specialized ChatGPT Work experience designed for investment banking, equity research, and other financial workflows.
The platform combines GPT-6 Astra with premium data from Daloopa, PitchBook, LSEG News, and Crunchbase, allowing teams to research companies, analyze financial statements, build models, and prepare client materials. Granular citations help users trace figures and claims back to their underlying sources.
Firms can also publish approved Excel, Word, and PowerPoint templates for standardized outputs. Developed with Morgan Stanley and Evercore, the product includes enterprise security, role-based access, data encryption, retention controls, and compliance logging.
