OpenAI’s GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna are now generally available on Amazon Bedrock, expanding the GPT-6 family alongside Astra. Sol targets recurring complex workloads such as coding, debugging, data analysis, computer use, and multistep agentic processes.
Luna focuses on high-volume tasks including extraction, summarization, classification, routing, and focused question answering. Both models offer lower API pricing than their GPT-5.6 predecessors and support explicit prompt caching to reduce repeated context processing.
Organizations can also combine Luna, Sol, and Astra within the same application, routing individual tasks according to reasoning requirements, latency, workload volume, and overall operating cost.
