GPT-6 Astra is now generally available on Amazon Bedrock, expanding how enterprises can deploy OpenAI’s latest frontier model within existing production environments. Astra targets complex reasoning, software engineering, research, document analysis and long-running agentic workflows, with support for up to roughly one million input tokens.
Its computer and browser-use capabilities also allow agents to work across software interfaces when direct APIs or connectors are unavailable. Organizations can access Astra through Bedrock APIs or configure ChatGPT Work and Codex to use the model through Bedrock.
The release gives enterprise teams another deployment path for building governed, production-scale AI applications and agents.
