Anthropic rolls out higher Claude usage limits after SpaceX compute deal

Anthropic increased Claude usage limits after securing compute capacity from SpaceX’s Colossus 1 data center. The partnership adds massive GPU power to support rising demand for Claude Code and API services.

Anthropic has expanded Claude usage limits after signing a major compute agreement with SpaceX. The company will use SpaceX’s Colossus 1 data center, which includes more than 220,000 Nvidia GPUs and over 300 megawatts of compute capacity.

Anthropic said the added infrastructure will help double Claude Code rate limits for Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise users while also increasing API limits for Claude Opus models. The move follows growing complaints from developers about strict usage caps and rising demand for AI coding tools.

Anthropic also hinted at future collaboration with SpaceX on orbital AI compute infrastructure and space-based data centers.
