Civic partnered with GoML to enhance its Revere platform with an AI email response generator designed for congressional offices. These offices receive thousands of constituent emails each week, which previously required manual review, topic tagging, and response writing.
GoML built a system that automatically classifies messages by policy topic and viewpoint, groups similar emails together, and generates draft responses aligned with each congressperson’s communication style.
The system uses large language models and retrieval pipelines that pull policy context from legislative data and news sources. Staff review and approve responses before sending. The solution improved operational efficiency, reduced manual classification work, and enabled faster responses to constituent communication.
